How to get there?
Székesfehérvár can be found between Budapest and Lake Balaton and is at a distance of only 10 kilometers from Lake Velence. It can be reached from Budapest on the main road 7 or the motorway M7. The town can be accessed by train from Budapest by the line to Nagykanizsa but can be reached from other directions as well.

Székesfehérvár (the former Alba Regia) was the first seat of the kings of the House of Arpad. This is the very reason why the town is rich in historic places.
