How to get there?
Szeged can be reached on public road from Budapest Budapestről on the M5 motorway, from Debrecen Debrecenből on the main road 47 and from Baja Bajáról on the main road 55. The city is an important railway junction – slightly more than two hours are needed to get there from Budapest by Inter City trains. Due to the recently inaugurated airport capable of providing landing for small and medium planes, Szeged and its region is interlinked with the world, too, beyond Hungary.
