How to get to Orfű?

The easiest way to get to Orfű from Budapest is taking the M7 motorway: leave the motorway at the Siófok-Szekszárd exit, then take route 66 and you can reach your destination towards Oroszló or Magyarszék. Those coming from Pécs can get here on route 6, on the Magyarürög road.

Even though Orfű is a town of only 850, there are lots of interesting sights here. For example, the three artificial lakes are totally unique, as is the Kemencés Courtyard offering an outstanding collection of ethnography and the Country House, but the riding establishments, the sports facilities, the natural beaches and the built bathing facilities all provide great recreational opportunities.
