How to get there?
The town can be reached from Budapest on the M7 motorway and the road 67. As to railway, it can be accessed through the Budapest-Pécs line as far as Dombóvár from where the Dombóvár–Gyékényes line runs to Kaposvár.

Kaposvár and Somogy county is attractive to tourists because of the settlements of the southern shore of Lake Balaton and the Somogy-hills.
