How to get to Dunakeszi?
The city is sided by Fót from the east, Budapest from the south, the Danube from the west and Göd from the north. Route no. 2 (E77) crosses the city on its eastern boundary, in north to south direction. It is accessible via highway 2/a and on section no. 2/b of the recently completed M0 ring. Its railway network is also very developed, thanks to the vicinity of the capital. By water the city is connected to the Island of Szentendre by a regular ferry line. As an international main waterway, the Danube plays an important role in inland navigation.

Visitors to the town are advised to see the church of St. Michael, the City Hall, the late Roman port and harbour, as well as the horse racing track and training centre of Alag. There is an air field for gliders in the vicinity of the horse racing track. The base of MALÉV flight club is also here. The traditional flight day is held in the air field every year.

Attila József Culture Centre has a determining role in the cultural life of the city, through the maintenance and operation of artistic groups with great traditions. In addition to lending books, Ferenc Kölcsey town library is host to regular meetings between writers and readers, literary and other events, club days, exhibitions and activities for children. The Association for the Protection and Beautification of the Town maintains the collection of local history, which guards and presents the past of the community.
