The Jewish Tourism and Culture Centre is organising a Hanukkah Festival for the first time to take place in Budapest's Goldmark Hall on December 12-17.
On December 12, Judrom Gipsy Klezmer Band, which plays a fusion of Klezmer and Gypsy music, will perform together with Judit Klein.
On the 14th, the violinist Orsolya Korcsolán will perform with László Fekete, chief cantor of the Dohány utca Synagogue, and the pianist Zoltán Neumark. On the programme are works by Kreisler, Sarasate and Dvorák.
Péter Gerendás will put György Faludy's poems to music on December 17. He will be joined by Dani and Hanna Gerendás.
